Sterling Silver Carnelian Cross necklace
While shopping for stones one day I came across these 5 matching square carnelian cabachons. I knew instantly that they had to be a cross necklace, so I fashioned a braided setting in sterling silver for them. The carnelian stone is a member of the agate family. It is believed to deepen concentration, harbors the state of the soul and the lessons of our past lives. The warm color of carnelian is supposed to give courage and allow those who are timid and of a weak voice to speak boldly and well and is considered to heal anger.
Strung on 18" sterling silver, delicate cable chain, it has two small silver donut beads bordered by copper floret spacer beads. Signed by me on the back of the setting. All findings are sterling silver.
